Who are we?

We are Urban Chaos one of the largest independent extreme sports retailers in the UK, with four shops, two warehouses and our new online shopping site we believe this surely is a world of Extreme. We began trading in 1999, our shops in and around London trade under the name Urban Chaos, and our team of over 20 experienced staff possess almost a century of extreme sports related knowledge. We take pride and passion in providing quality products with a service that we think you will find second to none...... put us to the test!

Your Rights

As UK consumers you are covered by a variety of Legislation designed to protect you the consumer. This not only covers Sale of Goods Acts but also Distance Selling Regulations which gives you the right to cancel an order and return any goods that may have already been dispatched, in addition to this our own returns policy extends this to a period of 14 days from day of purchase. In certain instances you will need to notify Urban Chaos Customer Services of any damage/shortages within 7days of receipt of goods in order to qualify for refund of postage. Please read Returns Policy section bellow for full details.

Product Descriptions and Details

We endeavour to provide accurate photos and descriptions of products on our website at all times, these are generally provided by the manufacturer and/or supplier. Individual products or product lines maybe subject to a minor change in specification or colour, this should not however, affect the overall performance you would expect. You may find instances where an image is marked "illustartion only", this generally means that the exact product image isn't available, ie. the the picture may show a brown product although the descriptiopn clearly states that it's white. Where this is the case you should note the product description details and assume its accuracy. If you have any concerns then plase contact Urban Chaos Customer Care.

Pricing and availability

We strive to bring you quality products, quality service and affordable prices, we guarantee to honour the prices shown on this site and also endeavour to match any competitors web price for the same item. The Urban Chaos range of special offers is restricted to online purchases and is not available in the retail stores. Urban Chaos reserve the right to ammend or withdraw any offer due to availability which may fluctuate with demand. If there is a problem with your purchase you will normally be notifed within 1 working day of placing your order. Guarantees & Warranties

Our guarantees should enhance the Statutory Rights that you have under UK Law.
All items we sell are covered by a manufacturer warranty. This is generally anything from one year to the lifetime of the product. Warranties generally cover failure of an item due to manufacturing defect, excluding general wear and tear, abuse (crashing/jumping etc) and accidental damage. Accessories and clothing are generally warrantied between six months and one year and also cover manufacturers defect. For further information, please feel free to contact us. Please note that warranties are not transferable to subsequent owners and proof of purchase will be required to validate any claim.

Returns Policy

If you are unhappy with the product/ its size or colour then we are happy to offer a refund for the purchase however the postage cost is not refundable. You will however be liable for the cost of sending the item back to us. Goods received back must be in 'as good as new' saleable condition with all original labels and packaging if they are not then a 20% handling charge may apply. If you require another size or colour of the same item, then we will send you a replacement out buy you will have to pay the postage costs again. If you have a damaged or faulty item we will send you out a replacement as soon as the returned item is received. Please note that in order to receive a credit for your returned postage costs you must notify Urban Chaos within 7days of receipt of goods. Return postage costs are limited to the same value as the original invoice amount charged for delivery, proof of posting/money receipt is required to obtain a credit/refund of postage costs back to Urban Chaos.

Postage & Delivery

We use a variety of parcel services and couriers to ensure speedy dispatch of goods. Orders received before 2.00 p.m. are usually dispatched the same day, for next day delivery. Orders received after 2.00 p.m. will be dispatched the next working day. Dispatches are made Monday to Friday.

UK delivery charge will be charged at £6.

Over seas delivery charges will vary. Please contact us to find out costs.

For exact postage costs please add all required items to your basket and proceed to checkout, you will be notified of full costs at this stage, and willl have the option of cancelling your order beofre payment. All prices quoted are for delivery to UK mainland unless otherwise stated.

After a failed delivery attempt you will receive a card through your door, this will show the courier details and explain how to contact the depot to arrange collection/re-delivery. Please pay particular attention to the references made regarding how long a delivery will be held at the courier depot. If you do not contact the courier within their listed timescale your goods will be returned to Urban Chaos and a charge will be made to re-send the goods. If you subsequently cancel the order then only the cost of the goods will be refunded.

Payment Methods & Security

Rest assured that we are as concerned about security as you are.
We accept all major Credit and Debit Cards including Visa and MasterCard. All payments go through a major secure server which has been approved for use by the High Street Banks so you can order with confidence. Payments via other debit cards such as Solo and Visa Electron are also possible, please be aware that some banks and card issuers may refuse this payment type from your account, if this is the case you will be notfied within 24 hours of your order and given the oppurtunity to pay via another method.

Data Protection and Privacy Policy

You are protected under UK Law by the Data Protection Act. We do not seek to limit or restrict this Protection in any way.

We ask for certain personal details such as your name and address so goods can be despatched. We ask for your phone number so we may contact you in the event of any problems or queries. Your details are important to us and as such we guarantee NOT to pass these details onto any outside company. We ask you for your e-mail details so that we may initially contact you about your order. If however you do not wish to be made aware of any future offers and promotions please contact us and we will remove your details.

Cookies

Cookies are tiny files which are stored on your computer, they simply record information such as items in your basket or items you have previously viewed. These cookies are shared with this site in order to make online shopping with us possible. This is not unqiue to Urban Chaos, most sites now share and store cookies on your computer hard drive to facilitate tailored made visits. For this reason you must enable cookies on your machine.
